I'll have a look at their numbers for now. I have all the tools needed, minus table saw (broken fence). That would be easier for me to pull off than the box enclosures. So all the pretty layers show at the front. Cleared or stained black 2 tone leaving some natural. I can already picture the spines constructed out of good looking laminated baltic birch. I think I might down a few more of the Dayton's and build some reference Gallo 3 way copies. I can probably find a taller cook pot with more volume if need be. They have 10" Peerless subs in the bottom buckets. Knowing them and liking them it came as an unrelated after thought. It almost looks like I ripped of Gallo reference 3.1 but didn't. So very many ideas pass through after time I tend to forget some I really like. The more I think about this idea the more I like it. I'll get it to a close tolerance with my belt and also apply construction adhesive between the mdf and aluminum to form a gasket. It shouldnt be a problem making it totally air tight so they will handle the pressure wich will be a lot. They seem like excellent deals second hand. The bucket I have in mind will be too cramped, thats a deal breaker. I was always a fan with old school bazooka tubes. In the mean time, its going in a bucket to make sure it works while I fab a new enclosure. Similar sound with 5x the punch is what I'm chasing here. If it sounds at least as good I'll be keeping it. The titanic looks like it can eat the REL for lunch. Since I like the tiny Rel so much (t3 model) for musicality and punch. The sub will be as compact as possible so the other. I may use up the rest of my plywood and do all 6 walls with the 1". I have a simple 0.75 sealed box system in mind. They seemed popular enough so I thought I'd ask request a few more idea's, if you played with these subs before. They carried Titanic woofers on and since made a 4rth model. Said to work better than a lot of subs within small parameters. The Dayton Titanic mklll are built like tanks, in the USA, 20+ lbs.
